Tini’s Mac and Cheese

Tini’s Mac and Cheese is a creamy, cheesy dish that brings comfort in every bite.

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Slowly whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni and stir until well combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or breadcrumbs on top before baking.
