- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 2 jars (24 ounces each) marinara sauce
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat.
- Once meat is cooked, drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 4 lasagna noodles, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, one-third of the mozzarella, and more meat sauce.
- Repeat layers ending with noodles and remaining meat sauce. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until cheese is golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
