Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the pumpkin, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture, mixing until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. For the frosting, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth. Spread over cookies once cooled.
