- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Place one tortilla in a clean skillet over medium heat.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla.
- Add half of the beef mixture, diced tomatoes, onions, and cilantro on top of the cheese.
- Top with another tortilla and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and slice into wedges. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add jalapeños or your favorite hot sauce.
- Pair with salsa or guacamole for dipping.
