Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken on both sides.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  7. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  8. Add heavy cream and stir until combined, then add parsley.
  9. Serve the chicken with the creamy garlic sauce poured over it.
