Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together.
  7. Roll the cookie dough into balls, then dip each ball into the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
