Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, then stir in the oats.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
