High Protein Creamy Taco Soup

A rich and creamy soup packed with protein from turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups chicken ham, diced
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same pot, add onion and garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent.
  4. Add chicken ham, black beans, corn, and taco seasoning. Stir to combine.
  5. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and chopped turkey bacon. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, topped with shredded cheese.

Notes

  • For added spice, include jalapeños or hot sauce to taste.
