Easy Zuppa Toscana Soup

A deliciously warming soup made with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups kale, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  2. Add the diced chicken ham and cook for a few minutes until heated through.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for another minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the kale and cook until wilted.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and return the turkey bacon to the pot.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

  • This soup pairs well with crusty bread.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
