Easy Homemade Lasagna Recipe

A delicious and simple lasagna recipe that combines turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 9 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey and chopped turkey bacon until browned.
  4. In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce.
  6. Place a layer of noodles over the sauce, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture, the turkey mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with marinara sauce and mozzarella on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add fresh herbs to the meat mixture.
  • Feel free to use a different type of cheese if desired.
