  • 1 pound ground hamburger
  • 4 cups sliced potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground hamburger with the chopped onion until fully cooked.
  2. Layer the sliced potatoes in the crockpot.
  3. Combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Add the browned hamburger and onion mixture on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. During the last 30 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover until melted.
