Creamy Scalloped Potatoes

A deliciously creamy dish featuring layers of scalloped potatoes, enhanced by turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
  4. Add half of the turkey bacon and chicken ham over the potatoes.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, bacon, and ham.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use low-fat cream.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven for best results.
