  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 4 ounces chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then add chicken ham and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and cream, and cook until thickened.
  5. Add cheeses, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; stir until melted.
  6. Combine the cheese sauce with the macaroni and meat mixture.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding breadcrumbs on top before baking.
