Cowboy Casserole

A delicious and hearty cowboy casserole that combines turkey bacon and chicken ham for a unique flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 2 cups shredded chicken ham
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup cheese, shredded
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the ground turkey until browned. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in the corn, black beans, chicken ham, taco seasoning, and tomato sauce. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • This casserole can easily be customized with your favorite vegetables.
  • Don’t hesitate to add some jalapeños for extra spice!
