Cheesecake Factory Air Fryer Fried Macaroni and Cheese Balls

A delicious twist on a classic dish featuring crispy macaroni and cheese balls made in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into balls and freeze for 30 minutes.
  4. Dip each ball in beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Air fry the balls for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños to the mixture.
  • These can be served with marinara sauce for dipping.
