  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon.
  4. Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef and mix well.
  5. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  7. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with lentils or mushrooms.
