This beef lasagna is a classic comfort food perfect for any family gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce, followed by layers of noodles, ricotta, and mozzarella.
  5. Repeat the layers, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven.
